BuddyLite is a free Buddypress child-theme with the following features:
Backend admin panel.
Simple instructions and suggestions are provided so you can easily customize some of the basic features & options.
Integrated navigation.
Enable the “Integrate BP-Adminbar with Main Menu” feature to give your users a more streamlined and intuitive navigation experience.
Widgetized homepage template.
If you don’t want blog posts or the activity stream on your homepage, you can choose this template so you can add content with widgets to whatever content is on the WordPress page you assign the template to. Widget areas include full-width top, full-width bottom, as well as left and right columns both above and below the page content. The only real limits to its versatility are your imagination and your content editing skills (sometimes, you just have to futz with stuff to get it to look just right!).
Widgetized footer template.
Choose to show one, two or three (or none) side-by-side widgets in the footer of your main site. A fourth, full-width, widget area is also included with no formatting so you can include ad codes (or anything else you want to format yourself).
Full-width page template.
Included for those occasions where you really want all the page real estate you can get… with no sidebars in the way!
